Love la Forêt (pronounced Love la Foray) was born deep in the fertile forests of Lespinassière, perched high in the mountains of the Languedoc region in the South of France. We are a small firm created and run by a British family to celebrate nature, fine food and the enduring entente cordiale between France and the UK.
Thanks to our extensive network of professional foragers and suppliers - and to our own personal forays - we offer a mouth-watering range of gourmet wild mushrooms for you to enjoy all year round: all painstakingly picked, sorted and packaged by hand, and of the highest possible quality.
We also work with local producers to propose perhaps the greatest (and certainly one of the most sought-after) of all the mushrooms: none other than the French black truffle, aka the Perigord truffle or the winter black truffle, Tuber melanosporum. Bon appétit!
